Roland-Garros 2017

French open started 22 May and the final is 11 June. Roland-Garros(French open) has finish half 4th round. it has not been a shock loose in the tournament, yet. Maybe it is comes. It is still many tennis match to play.

The topp 10 players:

When the 4th round started it was 8 of 10 topp, 8 players still in the tournament. Number 5th at the ranking  Roger Federer skip French open this year. He has decided to skip clay courts this season, because he want focus at the gress and hard court. Next year he want come to Roland Garros.

David Goffin from Belgium is the only topp player has lost and are out of the tournament. He lost against Horacio Zabbalos from Argentina.  

The topp 4 players: Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Stan Wawrinka and Rafael Nadal. They all players have a easy way to the 4th round. all of they are good enough to win Roland-Garros 2017, but Rafael Nadal is the favorites. He has already won 9 Roland-Garros, Nobody has won so many titles as him.

One of the semifinal, Rafael Nadal against Novak Djokovic is possible. The other semifinal can be Andy Murray against Stan Wawrinka. Dream final is Rafael Nadal against Andy Murray.  A outsider to win Roland-Garros is Gael Monflis. He is a french player as ranked 15th in the world. He has a hard way to the final, maybe the French people and be home can help him.

Only a weak again of the Tournament, so next Sunday we know who the winner is.    

The Blind Side

I have read The Hunger games and seen the movie The blind side. They two stories are about the bad side of the society.

The blind side is about Michael Oher. He is from the bad side of the society, and he gets help to come into school. He was very lucky because he come to the school because he was good in American Football. One family also want to help him, so they let him stay in them house. Michael Oher be a pro NFL player. It is very hard to do that he did. In the movie, we see his friends from the bade side, not be like successful as him, so it is hard.

We can see some like story in The Hunger Games because there must you live in the Capitol to have a future. Because if you live in the one of the 12 districts you, it is not hope for you. They rich people play with you.

 “I volunteer!” I gasp. “I volunteer as tribute!”

This sentence is when katniss take her sister prime place in the competition.  This sentence is very important because when she said that, she was in the game. When she did that for she`s sister, it show us how much she love her sister and how brave she is.

Setting

“Katniss! Katniss! I can hear my name being from all sides.”

This sentence is when Katniss and Peeta came out to the city street and they came with a clothes of fire. They came with clothes of fire because it is very much people as look at they. They must stand out from they other districts because they can get sponsor.  This Sentence show you how big this games are for the capitol occupier.

Plot

"The capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV."

This paragraph is taken from the backside in the book. it show how hard and cruel the competition is.

Character development

 “ the sound of the trumpets startles me. I am on my feet and the mouth of the cave in a flash, not wanting to miss a syllable. It is my new best friend, Claudius Templesmith, and as I expected, he is inviting us to a feast. Well we’re not that hungry and I actually wave his offer away in indifference when he says, now hold on. Some of you may already be declining my invitation. But this is no ordinary feast. Each of you need something desperately. Some to heal Peeta`s leg.”

  

Katniss show us not a new side of she, but she show, very brave side, braver than she take her sister place. Because she know mostly all of the tributes as still of live will come. It will be a carnage.   

My opinion of the book: 

I saw the Hunger Games on movie before I read the book.  I liked the movie good, but after I read the book, I like the book better, because the book gives you more information than the film. I do not understand some things in the film, but I understand that better when I read the book.  I like the book very so maybe I shall read them two other books too. 

My work in english class today

today i have worked with the question: why it is important for students to learn how to use technology ?

I mean it important becaus you will be more critical to the sources. you kan also read about what other people have shared and get more ideas.

 

The Hunger Games

 I have choose to read The Hunger Games. I choose this book because I have seen the movie, and i would like to compair the book to the movie. I see The Hunger Games has get very good reviews also.

World War II

I have read about one short story. The short story I have read is about one Germany ship was into fiord in Norway. When this ship was into the Norwegian fiord then there came three British ships. The names of the ships are Leutzo, and Tirpitz. 'X-Craft'. This ships was built to sink the Germany ship.

Christmas tree in England

Every year give Norway one big Christmas tree to England. This big Christmas tree is at Trafalgar Square in London. The Christmas tree is a gift from Norway to England. Norway gives the tree because England helps Norway to be free from the Germany in the World War II. Norway gives the first Christmas tree in 1947. Today has Norway gives total 64 Christmas trees. When this Christmas tree shall cut down it is a tradition as Oslo and London mayor shall cut the tree down together.

 

It more than Oslo as gives Christmas tree to other cities in other countries. Bergen gives tree to Newcastle. Trondheim gives tree to Hamburg.
