The Landlady

I have read The Landlady by Roald Dahl and I have also seen the movie by Alfred Hitchcook. The movie and the short story both had unexpected endings. The novel and the movie were slightly different because in the short story the boy was 17 years old but in the the movie he was  22 years old.

It was very unexpected because Billy Weaver finds out the old landlady stuffed her dead animals and stuffed the other guest. He find out he is  next one  

Social and cultural valuers i Singapore and Australia

There are many diffrent social and cultural valuers in Norway. For example free school and education, free heath care, a wide variety of natural attactions and multi-cultural society. What about sosial and cultural valuers in Singapore and Australia.

In this english lesson we were given a task where we had to find cultural and social values in two english- speaking counttries. Marie, Julia and Matias and i decided to write about Australian and Singaporean values. Together, we have figured out a couple of questions that we may need some help to answer. The questions are listed below:

Cultural:

• How many percent of population do not belong to any religion?
• Are there any famous  popsingers, actors or other well-known stars in your country?
• What about national sport? Other famous sports?
•  Languages that are morst frequently spoken at home are?
• How is the wild animal life like?
• what kind of wild animals can you spot in your garden?
• what are the main religions in your country?
• Is there any kind of national food? ehat should i eat if I visit the country and want a typical and traditional manu?
• How is your country populated?
• Do the people in your country have cabins? Is it normal to have one? If yes, where?
• When and how does your country celebrates its national day?

Social:

• What is your most important value? What's important to your social life?
• On wich way is the rule strict is the capital?
• What do you appreciate the most in your country?
• What do you value the most in yourcountry?
• Do elders receive respect and status?

Dictionaries

Today i have used several Dictionsries to find correct words. They dictionaries are googel translate, The free dictionary, clue and ifinger. Most of the time today have i used google translate and clue because i don`t understood how i used the free dictionary and ifinger. Google translater and clue like i because they were easily to understood. I like google translater slightly better because i have used google translater befor. It is one negative with google translater and it is you can not write sentens only word.

Wayne Rooney injured!

The Match against Manchester United and Fulham was on Saturday. In this match Wayne Rooney was injured. Wayne Rooney started the match on bench. when the mach was  68 minutes old Wayne Rooney began  to play. When the match  90 minutes old  Wayne Rooney was felt to the ground . He was block a free kick and fulham`s Hugo Rodallega landed on his leg. He got a gash.

 

 

 

 



Rooney was send to the hostpital immediately when he got the gash. It looks really bad. He release from the hospital the day after he was injured. Wayne Rooney will be out for four weeks. He will miss England`s two World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukrain. Not enought,  Rooney will also miss three league match against Southampton, Wigan and Liverpool.

hello!!!

My name is tobias and I live in  Norway. I am 15 year old.I started  high school at Sandvika a few days ago. I think  I'm only going to write on this blog at  school bescause my teacher said we should make a blog.

I live in Asker with my family. My mom, dad, little brother and little sister. In my spare time after school  i like to play football and be with my friends. i play fotball for vollen and we are not so good. i am also very interested in sports.

Today  my class and I shall go to Nordmarkskappelt. Nordmarkskappelt is a cottage in Nordmarka. We shall sleep there. i think most of the class are looking forward to the trip. i think the trip will  be awesome.

How we get to Normarkskapplet. When the time is  14:00 we takes the train from Sandvika to National Theater. After we arrive at  National Theater we take The Metro to Voksenkollen. When we arrive at Voksenkollen we shall go to Nordmarskappelet. Maby I will takes somes photos from the trip but i doubt it came.
